Since its launch in 2016, the Ifassen cooperative has carved a path of creativity and dedication with the help of its women, drawing inspiration from Morocco’s rich heritage, a renewed spirit that blends authenticity and innovation. In Ahna Tou El Haouz, where traditional crafts come to life, the cooperative’s young women, both graduates and postgraduates, share a passion for art and mastery. Their hands expertly weave randah with its delicate secrets, crochet with threads of warmth and beauty, and draw sumptuous paintings with Fez and Rabat embroidery needles. On their looms, rugs are woven like a poem that speaks the colors of the earth and the stories of their ancestors. Creativity pulsates within their spirit as they transform wood, glass, and plastic into works of art, as part of their environmental project, “Ifassen Recycling.” Ifasen is not just a cooperative, but a story that has matured with the dreams of women who believe that heritage is not a past to be narrated, but a present to be created and a future to blossom, so that their voices may resonate in the markets and their hands may leave their mark in every home.
